Memberships


Bienvenue! We're overjoyed that you're planning to join us for our event this year - CirqueCon 2010 in New York City and Montréal.

CirqueCon is a Membership Only organization. {why?}

Becoming a member of CirqueCon 2010 is easy! We ask a nominal membership fee of $20.00 per household to cover planning, research and expenses for the event. We define a household as consisting of those who dwell under the same roof and compose a family, such as a single person, a husband, wife and/or children, or domestic partners.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept memberships from those under 18 years of age unless they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian 18 years of age or older who is also a member. Said parent/legal guardian will be expected to remain with said minor during CirqueCon events.

What is Included?

    • One program packet per membership, which may include: a program-type booklet to keep as a momento, a name badge, a lanyard, brochures, maps and other surprises!
    • Periodic emails and status reports to keep members informed of any schedule changes and other event updates.
    • Planning and help with hotel rooms at our official headquarters hotel. {See Accomodations / Hotel for further information}
    • Planning and help with show tickets at our official group shows. {See Show Tickets for further information}
    • Facilitating activities and events that allow our members the opportunity to mingle and get acquainted with one another. {See Social Gatherings for further information}
    • And all the planning, research and communication, both on-line and via phone and email, necessary to answer questions and make this gathering of the Cirque fan community happen.

What is Included?

    We ask a nominal membership fee of $20.00 per household, which can be administered in either of the following two ways:

    • $20.00 -- Check or Money Order:

      Please send $20.00 for each membership by check. Checks should be made out and sent to:

    • $21.00 -- Credit Card:

      We have set up a PAYPAL account for those that wish to pay via credit card. However, in order to offset PayPal's transaction charges, the cost of a Membership paid through PayPal is $21.00. Please send $21.00 to Paypal account: newyork@cirquecon.com.

    • Also, let us know...

      Once you've decided to join us, please send us the following information (to newyork@cirquecon.com ) so that we may add you and your household to our offical member list:

      • Your Name
      • The Name(s) of people traveling with you (your "household")
      • Your Mailing Address
      • Your Email address

What is Included?

    Don't think you can make it? Don't worry! If a member has to cancel prior to our event, the membership fee will be refunded on a prorated basis. Additionally, since we are a not-for-profit organization, any leftover amount will be donated to Oxfam or some Cirque or circus-friendly cause recognized as 501c3 tax-exempt.
