I apologize for not sending out an update sooner; however, we were all captivated here by Cirque du Soleil's announcement of TOTEM yesterday - what does everyone think? TOTEM traces the fascinating journey of the human species from its original amphibian state to its ultimate desire to fly. The characters evolve on a stage evoking a giant turtle, the symbol of origin for many ancient civilizations. Inspired by many founding myths, TOTEM illustrates, through a visual and acrobatic language, the evolutionary progress of species. Somewhere between science and legend TOTEM explores the ties that bind Man to other species, his dreams and his infinite potential. GROUP MEAL MONTREAL /// Last Friday was our deadline for reservations to our Group Meal at the Restaurant du Vieux Port in Montréal and we had advised that on Monday, April 5th we'd advise everyone how to lock in their selections (aka, pay us). We delayed that message because while our turn-out was great, we wondered if we could skirt under some threshold and order off the menu. We spoke with the Restaurant du Vieux port and they said "Oui!" Therefore, it is not necessary to pay us in advance for the Group Meal in Montréal! What is most exciting is that we'll be seated in a special area and be able to order directly off the regular menu - so you can have what you want! Bills will be settled individually at the restaurant so keep your money! And for those who did not RSVP by the deadline but wanted to come, you are welcome to! A word of note, however: for everyone planning to join us at the Restaurant du Vieux Port, please make sure you arrive promptly at 5:00pm to guarantee you will have enough time to dine and make the 8:00pm performance of TOTEM. TEA FOR TUE – SDAY? /// On the afternoon before we start our official activities in New York City, LouAnna Valentine and Keith Johnson are inviting up to 5 other Passionates to join them for High Tea - English-style! While the majority of the activities we can control, such as our group meals, our meet & greet times and group shows have been scheduled, we're still waiting to hear from Cirque regarding any and all possibilities.
