Just a quick mid-week update to let everyone know about an exciting option presented to us by one of our members, Rich Alford! He's looking at organizing a "Magic Bus" to take us from Manhattan to Randall's Island for OVO and back again - see the MAGIC BUS section below for information on the BUS option and perhaps even dinner before hand! By next week we should have everything in place to announce both Headquarters hotels (one in New York City and the other in Montréal) for our events. We're looking to stay at "On the Ave" in NYC and, of course, "Marriott Spring-Hill Suites Old Port" in Montréal. Do not call and make your reservations at this time - we'll have special instructions shortly! There's still plenty of time to get your seats to OVO in New York City and TOUR 2010 in Montréal - bother under the Grand Chapiteau - but time is of the essence. While our official CirqueCon Group Meal in New York City will be held on Thursday, April 29th (we're working on the time and place), just before we convene for Banana Shpeel at the Beacon Theater, we have a couple of exciting member-supported propositions for you: 1) would you like to meet up for dinner on Wednesday, April 28th, and then 2) ride a “Magic Bus” to Randall’s Island and back for OVO? If either of these interest you (or both!), please RSVP with member Rich Alford – richdvd@hotmail.com – today! He has not yet selected a restaurant we could all meet at for dinner, but the “Magic Bus” to OVO ($20 by check / $21 by Paypal per person) will pick up bus pass holders at the intended Restaurant and will drop us off at OVO, then return us to Manhattan after the show! We’re offering this special OVO evening to CirqueCon members a-la-carte – join us for the meal before, just the bus ride to the show, or both! Each item is separately ticketed; you pick and choose the options in which you’d like to participate!
